/ Audio Production & Mixing

We mix individual pieces or albums. We use the latest technology and high grade plugins. We mostly work 'in the box', so the audio never leaves the digital domain and changes can be easily done at any time.

The best audio production is deemed worthless if it is not optimally mixed. Sometimes you hear a song or an album, in which everything about it is just perfect - the music, the sound, the mastering. The overall sound is great and clear, the main voice has its place and a sense of a three-dimensional image is formed creating depth and width. When everything sounds natural and rounded, the listeners are happy and the expert knows immediately that there has been much dedication and know-how involved in its production.

For the initial mix, the individual tracks must be in either AIFF or WAV file formats in the highest possible bit resolution. Usually WAV 44.1kHz / 24bit is used. The number of individual instrumental tracks one needs is dependent on the type of music and its instrumentation and should be individually planned and discussed.

What happens quite often is that we produce music pieces based on the artists demo versions. Also a kind of pimped mixing often happens, which includes some production or re-arranging when the original material reaches it's limit. There are no rules and every project is different and can be individually discussed - just get in touch by email!

When you hand over the production of a song or an entire album to someone, it is definitely a matter of trust and taste. Trust in the technical skills and musical taste. Also communication skills are important for a good cooperation between producer, composer and musicians. Each producer and sound engineer also has their own preferences of music, style and sound, where creative ideas bubble up and enrich the production.

For Mixing, Production or Editing we charge 250€ per day or 30€ per hour for simple and short tasks. As no project is like the other, we can always discuss your project and an individual offer, please email us.
