Synthesizer Building Workshop: Bumsss - Analog Drum Synthesizer

After the last completely booked out Bumsss-workshop at Schneiders Büro, now again in cooperration with MDZ: The Bumsss is a simple drum-synthesizer like this vintage boxes a la Coron. It has a built-in contact microphone, if you hit the box, a decay-envelope is triggered that controls the amp and pitch of the machine. Or you trigger it by external devices such as modular synths. An LFO offers triangle or square waves in variable speed for modulating the pitch, from slow vibrato to harsh frequency modulation. Besides the oscillator you can use a noise with VCO (pitch) or VCA as modulation destinations. Bumsss has Trigger- and CV-Input - you'll be surprised what you can do with that box.

For this workshop we cooperate with Musik der Zukunft. The workshop will take part at Landsberger Allee 54, Berlin.

The fee of 75 € has to be paid cash and includes circuit board, parts and case except knobs for the potentiometers. Please bring your own soldering iron!!! It is good to have a little soldering experience, but if not you will learn it here. A registration is required and binding!
